HOW CAN I LISTEN TO CULTURE?
You can tune into Culture:
- On the DAB+ select Culture Digital.
- On the Culture website
Listening via a computer, you need a computer with a sound card, speakers or headphones, a web browser and a connection to the internet. We recommend download Google Chrome as your web browser.
You can then listen live via the website and press play at the bottom of the page
WHAT IS “STREAMING”?
Streaming lets you listen to audio or video while it downloads over the internet to your computer. Audio and video files can be very big. Video especially can take a long time to deliver if you’re using a slower internet connection. Streaming reduces the size of these files and allows you to watch or hear them as they’re delivered to your computer. This means you can start listening straight away without needing to wait for the entire file to download. Streaming also allows live content, such as radio and television programmes, to be delivered directly to your computer.
We stream directly via the Community Radio Plus app. These services we have a relationship with and can guarantee the service. There are many other streaming platforms on the internet and while they may support us, we cannot guarantee that they always will, so that is why we recommend the services above.
I’M HAVING PROBLEMS USING THE PLAYER ON MY COMPUTER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you are having issues listening via certain apps we highly recommend listening via the “Community Radio Plus” App, as it is actively supported.

Culture also uses the “Community Radio Plus” app iPhone app!
Click here to download the iTunes app. You then need to search for Culture then save it as a favourite. IHeart Radio and TuneIn also have an app but are a little more difficult and have ad breaks that are nothing to do with Culture.

You can listen to Culture live on your Android device by downloading the free “Community Radio Plus” app.
